TV CHEF Jamie Oliver has launched a new non-camping festival, the Big Feastival, which will take place on London’s Clapham Common on 1-3 July and combine “London’s finest gourmet experience with the look of an urban village fete and a music festival vibe”.

Tickets will include food from some of the capital’s top chefs including Giorgio Locatelli, former Masterchef winner and Wahaca co-founder Thomasina Miers, and Oliver himself.

Acts include The Charlatans, New Young Pony Club, Mystery Jets and Soul II Soul.

Tickets are £75 including five samples of food, £175 for a family ticket, and under 12s go free. A quarter of profits will go to The Prince’s Trust and the remainder to The Jamie Oliver Foundation, raising funds to help bring positive change to the lives of young people.
