BPM Festival partners with Tixr and Orbitz; reveals first line-up phase

MEXICO: Playa del Carmen’s BPM Festival has revealed both its partnerships with Tixr and Orbitz, and the first names for its 2016 edition, taking place January 8 – 17 along Mexico’s colourful Yucatán Peninsula.

Serving as the official ticketing platform for The BPM Festival 2016, Tixr is the only place to get 2016 festival passes. Tixr bills itself as a revolutionary new ticketing platform that redefines the industry from interface to business model while making it easier, faster, and more fun for audiences to buy tickets. Established in 2013, Tixr’s founders have expertise in building secure, scalable technologies, and have designed Tixr to yield a superior product experience through a core team and a group of strategic investors dedicated to achieving one goal: to make Tixr the top choice for progressive event creators around the world.

The BPM Festival official travel portal is powered by Orbitz to offer the absolute best prices for flights and hotels for travelling to Playa del Carmen, and will refund the difference for users who find a lower price. By booking through the festival, users can find the best, most direct flights available, see how far each hotel is from all the main festival venues, and utilize a travel portal help section that includes all the need-to-knows about traveling to Mexico.

Presenting an all-encompassing roster of underground dance music, BPM Festival plays host to showcases from top record labels and party brands. With more than 375 artists performing at last year’s edition, the festival continues to demonstrate its prominence amidst the global festival circuit with its seemingly endless musical programming across 10 days of day & night events across multiple venues. Its phase one line-up for 2016 includes George Fitzgerald, Art Department, Boris, Guy Gerber, DJ Sneak, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, and many more. The full 2016 roster can be viewed here.
