Bastille, Cypress Hill and more for Lowlands

NETHERLANDS: A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise has announced several new line-up additions for its 25th anniversary celebrations, including Bastille, Cypress Hill, London Grammar, Michael Kiwanuka, Architects, Billy Talent, Future Islands, Glass Animals, Nina Kraviz, Robert Hood and more.

They’ll be joining the already announced Mumford & Sons, The xx, Editors, alt-J, Elbow, Flume, Iggy Pop, Moderat, Architects, Ben Klock, Cashmere Cat, Dixon, Mac DeMarco, Mura Masa, Noord Nederlands Orkest, Nothing But Thieves, Talaboman, Ty Segall, Tove Lo, Baloji, Denzel Curry, Palace, Shame, and SMIB.

Taking place next to the Walibi Fairgrounds, Biddinghuizen, Lowlands’ extensive program comprises alternative music, film, stand-up comedy, visual arts, literature and street theatre.

What’s more, the 55,000-capacity festival boasts installations, twelve stages, a wellness village, dozens of restaurants, a large market, a barber’s shop, its own currency, a local radio station, a daily newspaper, and seven luxury campsites with flushable toilets hot showers. This year the festival will take place from August 18 – 20.
