TagMix Hits Peaks For Busy Season-Opener

Boomtown, Victorious, CarFest, The Mighty Hoopla, Westival and Raver Tots are
the latest additions to the UK festivals embracing TagMix’s online audio
enhancement technology this summer after last year’s successful roll out with The
Isle Of Wight, Creamfields, Lytham Festival, The Big Feastival, El Dorado and
2000Trees among others.

Winner of The UK Festival Awards’ Innovation Award, TagMix automatically syncs video
footage filmed at live events with pro-audio from the sound desk, making content sound
incredible with no editing. This innovation allows festivals and touring artists to post
high quality sounding clips of artist performances to their social media channels in near
real-time, boosting view-counts and likes by as much as 600%, compared to posting
traditional poor sounding content.

Snowbombing was the first festival of 2024 to benefit from the tech. The Superstructowned
event taking place in Mayrhofen, Austria, dubbed “the world’s greatest show on
snow” used TagMix to capture the action from more than 50 Artists across its two
flagship venues The Racket Club and The Brück’N Stadl as well as the outdoor Street
Party featuring Rudimental.

TagMix was also on-hand for Fatboy Slim’s “Mountain Marathon”, which saw the
legendary DJ break a personal record to perform 6 shows in 24 hours at the festival, a
feat he acknowledged with a TagMix clip posted to his own Instagram account

“Marrying our live footage with pro-quality sound using TagMix has transformed how
we share our festival’s vibrant atmosphere,” said Madi Brown, Head of Marketing at
Snowbombing, “Having TagMix at Snowbombing meant we could post live performance
clips throughout the event that sounded amazing. With a small team and so much
magic to cover over long hours, it made a big difference having TagMix there, and the fact
that our artists all embraced it so positively made it even better.”

Andy Dean, TagMix’s CEO and founder said: “Snowbombing is an iconic festival
to be part of and the perfect start to our 2024 season. The alpine environment gifted us
some new operational considerations but the whole team were a pleasure to work with,
embracing the technology and using it to their full advantage. We are beyond proud to
have secured such a prestigious list of festivals for this summer and can’t wait to make
them all sound amazing on social media!“
