The 53rd edition of the Danish non-profit festival runs from 28 June to 5 July 2025 and will feature more than 170 music acts. Stormzy, Arca, Fontaines D.C., Magdalena Bay, Beth Gibbons, and Faye Webster are among the first 28 acts announced for the lineup at Roskilde Festival 2025.

British rapper and cultural icon Stormzy will be among the headliners at Roskilde Festival 2025. Stormzy will be one of the first acts to play the festival’s new and enhanced Orange Stage. The main stage of the festival will be about twice its former size.

Stormzy said: “Excited to be headlining Roskilde next year. Playing in both 2016 and 2018 was incredible, but returning now as a headliner feels like a big milestone. Roskilde has a unique energy, and I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with everyone. It’s going to be something special!”

He will be joined by other critically acclaimed acts like Irish post-punk group Fontaines D.C., US alternative pop duo Magdalena Bay and indie pop musician Faye Webster, the ground-breaking Venezuelan producer Arca, and iconic UK singer-songwriter Beth Gibbons from Portishead fame.

The inaugural announcement for Roskilde Festival 2025 spans multiple styles, genres, and continents, also featuring Germany’s hard-hitting party kings Electric Callboy, acclaimed US singer-songwriters like Jessica Pratt and Faye Webster, British experimental rock musician Geordie Greep, Lebanese post-folk six-piece Sanam, Ethiopian jazz composer Esy Tadesse and Denmark’s very own pop superstar MØ.

Located 20 miles outside Copenhagen, Roskilde Festival is the largest festival in Northern Europe. Home to a spectacular camping site and festival city, the festival is renowned for its deep sense of community. Being a non-profit festival means that every ticket sold directly supports humanitarian causes and cultural work, giving participants the chance to be part of something bigger.

“At Roskilde Festival, we aim to lay the groundwork for a brighter future by inspiring hope and action for new generations. We combine big utopian visions with tangible, everyday solutions that point towards new paths. Art plays a crucial role as a catalyst for change, and in 2025, participants at Roskilde Festival will experience an engaging and progressive lineup across music, performances, art installations, and activism,” says Signe Lopdrup, CEO of Roskilde Festival.
