The collaboration brings music, sport and culture across three stages to the 15,000 capacity venue. Separated into three rooms, X, Y and Z, room X will be dedicated to Afrobeats with acts Odumodublvck × Shallipopi headlining.
Room Y will celebrate Amapiano, and showcases South Africa’s club sound with back to back performances including Mthuda and Nieleic, alongside sets from Kwamzy, Don Jon B2B K3, Mdu aka TRP and KMAT.
Room Z will see Lit and LeQuartier uniting everything beyond Afrobeats and Amapiano, with Lit bringing a mix of Dancehall, rap crossovers and club sounds whilst Le Quartier acts as a new platform dedicated to Francophone music.
The Drumsheds show marks the official launch of Afro Nation United and its partnership with the Unity Cup. The Unity Cup is an annual international football tournament in London that features countries with significant diaspora in Europe, and celebrates the cultural contributions of the African and Caribbean communities to the UK.
