Following its triumphant debut last summer, the magical Electric Woodlands expands to become a two day camping weekend in 2022. This escapist musical weekender plays out deep in the enchanted woods of Bygrave Woods, Newnham, just 30 minutes from London on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd July.

Electric Woodlands comes from Louder, the UK’s largest independent electronic music promoter. Their vastly experienced team put on hundreds of club events and festivals each year, encompassing the UK’s most prestigious venues and brands, including Printworks, Ministry of Sound, On The Beach Brighton, Clapham Common, UK-wide O2 Academies, The OVO Arena, Wembley, The Warehouse Project and many more. These guys know how to put on an event in style, and Electric Woodlands is one of their most ambitious projects to date.

This year, organisers are proud to announce a specially curated line-up that equally represents a wealth of talent across the gender spectrum. Artists include Annie Mac, Hannah Wants, Example, Flava D, Amyelle, Solardo, Shy FX, Wilkinson, Bklava, Girls Don’t Sync, Eliza Rose, David Rodigan, Sub Focus & ID and many more.  Tickets go on sale for Electric Woodlands 2022 on Friday 25th March at 1pm.

Last year’s festival was a roaring success for its debut outing, putting Electric Woodlands firmly on the map and immediately becoming an essential House and Drum & Bass getaway. This year, due to popular demand, it stretches to two days with on-site camping options. Louder are keen to create a true getaway experience claiming that “as soon as you arrive, all your daily worries and woes will fade away as you’re immersed into an adult wonderland, featuring three unique woodland stages, world-class music from 14:00-04:00 both days, immersive visuals and a range of mouthwatering food and drink options.”

The adventurous line-up features a wealth of innovators from across the house and bass spectrum, as well as formidable stage partners including the much loved DnB Allstars, the UK underground frontrunners CruCast and the famously transportive party experience, Foreverland. Legendary and long running tastemaker Annie Mac will be bringing her cross-genre selections, chart topping UK rapper Example will be on hand with his big bag of anthems, and breakout star Bklava, who is known for her own fiery vocal tunes, also steps up for another sure to be memorable set.

On top of these come Drum & Bass pioneers Shy FX, Wilkinson and Sub Focus, influential reggae don David Rodigan, bass-driven House stars Hannah Wants plus Glasgow Underground, DIVINE Sounds and Armada artist Jess Bays and vibey female only DJ collective Girls Don’t Sync. There are over 50 red hot artists from across the musical spectrum, each with their own style and all sure to keep the vibes vital and vibrant across the weekend.

Sure to build on the success of its first year, Louder say that Electric Woodlands 2022 is shaping up to be another unmissable musical escape in the enchanted British countryside.
