Roskilde Festival has added 23 new music artists to its music programme. With acts from five continents, the Danish non-profit festival continues its wealth of announcements for this summer’s major event, showcasing a unique celebration of musical innovation and cultural diversity.

SZA is confirmed as a headliner for Roskilde Festival’s 2024 lineup, which is already bursting at the seams with international heavyweights such as Doja Cat, Foo Fighters, PJ Harvey, Skrillex, Jungle, Jane’s Addiction and J Hus.

SZA has captivated an ever-growing global fan base with singles like ‘Kill Bill’, ‘Good Days’, and ‘Snooze’. Particularly, her 2022 album ‘SOS’ and the following sold-out arena tour have cemented her position as one of the most influential and genre-defying innovators of American R&B and soul.

Lately, she has teased the release of the album ’Lana’, and this summer’s show at Roskilde Festival is her first-ever concert in Denmark.

“We have dreamt of presenting SZA ever since her debut. That this dream is coming true at a time when she has conquered the position as one of the planet’s most important R&B stars certainly doesn’t dampen our expectations. We know that she is a bona fide headliner that will grace the Orange Stage with a raw and touching manifestation of how R&B should be delivered in 2024”, says Anders Wahrén, Roskilde Festival’s Program Director.

Today’s 23 new acts reflect a diverse lineup, where influential legends and emerging talents from around the world will take the 130,000 participants on a week-long exploration marked by new musical trends and fresh encounters between genres and traditions that you will be hard pushed to find anywhere else.

The Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems will make her Danish concert debut on Orange Stage, and fans of the South African amapiano genre can look forward to a vibrant encounter with viral pop phenomenon Tyla.

Noise rock pioneer and Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon returns to Roskilde to inspire new generations with her sonic landscapes, while the indie rock phenomenon The Last Dinner Party and the pioneering Spanish singer Bad Gyal visit the festival for the first time.
