The dust has settled on Glastonbury 2025, even if the hangovers probably still persist. And that’s it for another year. Well, given 2026 will be a fallow year for Glastonbury Festival, that’s it for another two.
In true Glastonbury fashion, this year’s festival had no shortage of iconic moments, surprise guests, and created more than a few headlines. The likes of Lewis Capaldi, HAIM, Lorde and Pulp all popped up unannounced, even if rumours of their appearance had been rife for the past few months.
Charli XCX, Lola Young and CMAT pulled some of the weekend’s biggest crowds. So too did the Irish rap group Kneecap who, after months of deliberation about whether the band would actually be allowed to perform at the festival, performed an unwavering set in the face of political pressure. Once Pyramid Stage headliners The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo closed the main stage, ravers descended on the Block9, Arcadia and Shangri-La areas to dance until the early morning. Rod Stewart embraced his legend status with a Sunday afternoon set full of hits, while Skepta appealed to an altogether different crowd as a last-minute stand-in for Deftones, who were forced to cancel due to illness.
Yes, it’s safe to say that Glastonbury 2025 generated more than a few talking points. But while the sore heads are being nurtured, here’s a round-up of Glastonbury Festival 2025 in pictures.
