Dutch dance festival Mysteryland will take a creative break in 2026, with a return planned for 2027 with a new concept.

The 2025 event drew over 100,000 attendees from 81 countries, says the festival, with a main stage built into an arena where guests danced around the dance floor across four levels. Acts featured included Hardwell, Marlon Hoffstadt, Paul van Dyk, Eric Prydz and FISHER.

2025 marked the final edition of the festival in its current form with a grand finale featuring 800 drones, fireworks, lasers, video and lights choreographed into a 15-minute set piece.

Sander Vermeulen, Creative Director of Mysteryland said: “We wanted to close this chapter of Mysteryland with a finale bigger than ever before: a show centered around love and connection. What we’ve created here with Mysteryland is about complete integration. Drones, lasers, video, fireworks, and sound all speak to one another, forming a single visual and musical story. It’s no longer just about the technology; it’s about what happens when everything truly comes together.”
