Intent and creative producer Loz Poulton (Stage Modes) has launched the TT28 Series. The line of mid-sized tensile structures was designed to bridge the gap between standard stretch tents and traditional big tops.
Debuting at Shambala ‘25 for the Next Stage, the TT8:1000 featured a 360-degree surround sound system. The design collaboration was born from “a vision to solve a common festival dilemma: the unpleasant aesthetics and sweltering temperatures often found inside traditional PVC marquees.”
“Intent have been utilising trussing in our stretch tents for years,” said Dan Leake, Managing Director of Intent. “Having produced the TT21 series a few years ago, this latest development reaches new capacities for festival and live event venues when using a stretch tent as the base structure.”
“We wanted to create a tent that was inherently good looking with a natural feel and inviting environment inside,” added Loz Poulton. “Structures available over 2,000 capacity are generally made from PVC fabric; we wanted to provide an increased capacity and unique look to what is currently available on the hire market.”
The TT28 Series maintains a core width of 28m and is available in five expansive variations to suit different scale requirements.
Designed for high-capacity flexibility, the structures utilise 390mm HD Truss Towers with internal heights reaching up to 7.8m and edge heights ranging from 3.5m to 4m.
