Electric Bay Festival returns for its fifth edition at Torquay’s Torre Abbey Meadows from 10–11 July 2027, after a break in 2026. Pete Tong Presents Ibiza Classics with Tom Richards Essential Orchestra will headline on Saturday 10 July, with the Sunday headliner to be announced soon.
Electric Bay aims to bring major dance and drum and bass artists to the English Riviera. The Saturday line-up also includes DJ and producer Eats Everything, Chicago’s Marshall Jefferson and former Haçienda resident DJ Paulette. Previous editions have featured house and techno legend Carl Cox, producer and DJ duo Chase and Status and drum and bass live act Pendulum.
Cllr Jackie Thomas, cabinet member for tourism, culture and events and corporate services for Torbay Council, said: “We are delighted to welcome Electric Bay back to Torbay in July 2027. Events like this are an important part of our commitment to delivering a diverse year-round programme that appeals to different audiences and showcases Torbay as a leading destination for culture, music and entertainment.
Electric Bay attracts thousands of people to Torbay, many of whom stay overnight, helping to fill our hotels, restaurants, bars and hospitality venues throughout the weekend. The most recent economic impact survey showed the 2025 festival generated more than £1 million for the local economy and saw crowds of 10,000 people attend on the Saturday alone.
By continuing to encourage a varied programme of high-quality events, we are supporting local businesses, attracting new visitors and encouraging more people to discover everything the English Riviera has to offer. We look forward to welcoming festival-goers back to Torbay in 2027 for another fantastic Electric Bay weekend.”
