Tami has announced the UK launch of its payment and commerce app. Tami enables businesses to take payments on compatible phones and tablets, with multi-user functionality that lets teams take payments across multiple devices.
Tami is sponsoring the Independent Festival of the Year category at the UK Festival Awards 2026.
The payment app is made up of multiple features, including Tap2Pay, which enables payments to be taken on compatible devices using contactless or tap and PIN; Tap2Earn, which provides cashback for merchants who process more than £5,000; and Tap2View, which gives businesses a real-time view of sales and performance, with the option to create custom reports, among other features.
“Independent festivals are such an important part of the UK’s festival scene, bringing people together and creating opportunities for independent businesses to thrive. We’re proud to sponsor the Independent Festival of the Year category at the UK Festival Awards 2026 and celebrate the festivals and people who make the industry what it is,” says Jack Wood, Tami co-founder and managing director.
Jack continues: “At Tami, we believe getting paid should be the easy part of running a business. We’re committed to making festival payments simpler, more flexible and more rewarding, giving traders and operators the tools they need to take payments, manage their money and spend less time on admin. We’re excited to support an industry where independent businesses play such an important role.”
