The EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) has entered into force for all online platforms, with major implications for online ticket resale. The new regulation, designed to create a safer digital environment, includes key provisions lobbied for over two years  by the Face-value European Alliance for Ticketing (FEAT) on behalf of Europe’s live entertainment sector. Vision Nine Group has announced the approval of its application to increase the capacity of its Boardmasters Festival. The festival will expand to a new, total capacity of 58,000 (prev. 53,000)  this August. A decision was made a licensing committee hearing today (14th February) in Cornwall, the application also sought a further increase to 65,000 for the 2025 iteration.
