UK: Summer Days – the UK’s newest boutique music and food festival – has unveiled Jools Holland & His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra as its second headliner.

The legendary pianist, bandleader, singer, composer and presenter will top the bill on Friday July 8. Also announced for Friday’s line-up is Caro Emerald, whose uptempo blend of jazz and pop propelled her to number one in the UK and Dutch album charts with The Shocking Miss Emerald in 2013.

Summer Days is a three-day boutique music and food festival in the grounds of Clitheroe Castle – one of the North’s most beautiful and unique locations. With two live stages featuring more than 30 artists, a locally sourced gourmet food village and a dedicated real ale area there is much, much more still to be announced.

Summer Days Festival will announce a final headline act and a full supporting bill in the coming weeks as well as a full festival programme.

General access tickets for Friday July 8 are at £59.50 per day. A limited number of daily VIP tickets will be available at £149 each. The festival is also running a special yuletide promotion – from 9am on Friday December 18 to 11pm on New Year’s Day, following Jools Holland’s famous NYE Hootenanny show, all tickets are available with a £5 discount.
