UK: Following a secondment by Operations Manager Alex Redman last year, FGH Security has announced that it will be providing event security operatives to Glastonbury for 2016. Redman worked alongside the festival’s Security Director at last year’s event, learning about the unique challenges that come with managing the security deployment for a festival of Glastonbury’s scope. This year, FGH will be providing a contingent of staff to the Worthy View campsite, one of the VIP areas at the festival.

Redman said: ‘Glastonbury is the festival that everybody talks about. It has a unique history and raises money for some great charitable causes. For FGH to be part of this year’s event is fantastic. With the planning for our deployment already well underway, I can’t wait to get to be at the event with the team and show the festival goers what we do best.’

Peter Harrison, Managing Director FGH Security, is delighted to have FGH deploying to Glastonbury. ‘It seems fitting that the crème de la crème of Events Security are deploying to arguably the most globally recognised music event of the festival calendar,’ said Harrison. ‘This a great coup for FGH and an incredible chance to bring our particular brand of customer focused service delivery forward on a national scale. We are all very excited about this new addition to our event’s calendar and the prospects that it will bring. I do not doubt that our staff will excel themselves.’
