The Ticket Factory joins forces with TeamRock for new selling platform

UK: National ticketing agent The Ticket Factory has announced a new partnership with rock and metal powerhouse TeamRock. The exclusive partnership deal will give The Ticket Factory unrivalled access to rock, metal and prog fans along with huge selling clout for tickets to rock and metal concerts and live events.

The cornerstone of the partnership will be a new website called TeamRock Tickets, which will be powered by The Ticket Factory under the TeamRock brand as part of the media owner’s online portfolio.

TeamRock has a worldwide global footprint of over six million rock and metal fans, so thanks to the creation of TeamRock Tickets, The Ticket Factory and its customers – which include live event promoters and organisers – will have access to arguably the biggest rock and metal customer base in the country.

Stuart Cain, Managing Director of The Ticket Factory, said: “This deal means we’re now the go-to national agent for any event promoter looking to reach rock and metal fans. We’ll now have the opportunity to promote TeamRock Tickets and all of our rock and metal inventory through TeamRock’s online channels and their industry renowned magazines.”

Managing Director of TeamRock, Tony Dowling, said: “This is an exciting initiative which will help cement Teamrock.com as the home of rock and metal. As well as original content, news and interviews, our fans can now access tickets for live events too. Our audience is built of loyal and passionate people, who will soon be able to buy tickets under our brand, meaning we can provide an even better TeamRock experience.

“The Ticket Factory’s technology and systems mean we’ll deliver a reliable service to our customers which will integrate seamlessly with the TeamRock brand. Their proposition of standing ‘for the fans’, developing their product with a customer-first approach and strong stance against secondary ticketing, aligns closely with our ethos as a credible and authentic media owner.”

The partnership is one of several that The Ticket Factory manages with other media owners, such as Free Radio and Blue Chip brands such as Barclaycard, Virgin Trains and Uber. The company’s partnership strategy is focused on giving its clients and promoters access to a wider network of live event lovers and added extras to those customers when they book tickets via The Ticket Factory.

Along with Fee Free Fridays for Barclaycard holders and 25% of Virgin Trains, The Ticket Factory’s customers will also be eligible to receive a discount for TeamRock membership, giving them access to online content, news, interviews and album reviews.

TeamRock Tickets will launch in August with an associated full multi-channel marketing campaign utilising print, online, social media, newsletter and radio platforms.
