UK: Since the launch of ticketscript’s new look ticketshop earlier this year, ticket sales have been steadily increasing for its clients, who have additionally experienced a 125% increase in mobile conversion. Statistics show that customers purchasing tickets today are 4x more likely to use a mobile device compared to 2015.
This dramatic jump in mobile activity solidifies ticketscript’s focus on a mobile-first design, allowing customers to purchase tickets easily from any device, anywhere, anytime.
Data also shows a significant shift in the split of mobile users compared to desktop users year-on-year. Mobile users are now clearly the majority, moving from 45.9% share in 2015 to 63.6% in 2016. Whilst desktop users are in decline, falling from 47.4% in 2015 to 31.1% in 2016.
