USA: For the third time, Pukkelpop and Disco Naïveté will collaborate on a showcase at this year’s South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Just like last year they’ll be hosting an official showcase in The Sidewinder, a prominent club on the central Red River Street. The showcase will take place on March 16 and offers a stage to both Belgian and international talents.

Belgian acts Coely and The Sore Losers will join international talents Drive Like Maria, Klyne, Noga Erez, CHINAH, Au/Ra, Jamie Isaac, Casi, Tunde Olaniran, Flint Eastwood, and ROZES.

Chokri Mahassine, organiser of Pukkelpop, said: “We’ve been heading to SXSW for over 10 years now, discovering new music and the latest musical trends. Mumford & Sons is one of the bands we saw in a small Austin club a couple of years back and now they’re headlining this year’s edition of Pukkelpop. New talent is key for both Pukkelpop and Disco Naïveté, so our joint SXSW showcase is the perfect opportunity to shine the spotlight on promising acts from Belgium and abroad.”
