UK: A Greener Festival has confirmed the dates for its 2017 training courses, entitled ‘An Introduction to Environmental Assessment of Festivals and Events’ and ‘A Greener Festival Assessors Training’, with just a few places left.

Following the success of its training courses in 2016, AGF is once again delivering training for those who wish to become A Greener Festival assessors and carry out its audits of festivals and events.

This year the organisation is also offering an Introductory Course for those who simply want to learn more about the environmental assessment of festivals and events. The content for both courses draws upon AGF’s 10 years of experience assessing festivals around the world as well as associate expertise in areas such as waste management, power, transport, land use, communication and behaviour.

There are a limited number of places available on Assessor Training, which is a 1.5 day course and is being delivered in Manchester at Manchester Metropolitan University on May 4 and 5. For those unable to make these dates or location, AGF operates a waiting list.

To find out more and to reserve a space on either course, or if you are a festival wishing to participate in the awards, contact A Greener Festival.
