UK: Afropunk London has announced the majority of the programme for its sophomore UK edition. Set to take place from July 22 – 23 at The Printworks, the Afrocentric festival will encompass grime, punk, hip-hop, soul, reggae, roots, soul, and pop.

Live acts included in this year’s line-up are Danny Brown, Thundercat, JME, Nao, Lianne La Havas, The Heavy, Jazzie B, Willow Smith, Saul Williams, Corinne Bailey Rae, Connie Constance, Little Simz, Nadia Rose, Kojey Radical, Big Freedia, Sate, OBGM’s, Mahalia, and Black Orchid. This roster will be supplemented with DJs from Jazz Re:Freshed, Blacktronica, Fam, Born n Bred, gal-dem, Hannah Faith, Jamz Supernova, and Clara Amfo.

Beyond the music, the festival’s industrial space will play host to various artists, creatives, designers, exhibitions, food vendors, and a marketplace. Partners for this year include i-D Magazine, gal-dem and Crack Magazine. Details of the onsite arts, stalls, food, additional DJ sets and extras are set to be announced in the coming months.
