Live At Leeds reveals details for first Unconference

UK: Live At Leeds has revealed that it will host a full day of music industry talks and workshops as part of the first ever Unconference on May 4. Kick-starting the festival weekend, the Unconference will be rounded out with a Momentum Music Fund showcase at The Wardrobe, headlined by newly announced Leeds favourites, Marsicans.

The Unconference is a day of panels, workshops, presentations and networking for those working in, or aspiring to work in the music industry, as part of Live At Leeds and Leeds International Festival. Artists, producers, managers, promoters, and general enthusiasts are invited to attend.

This year’s event will feature artist & industry speakers, presentations, networking, and panel discussions hosted by partner organisations featuring professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds within music.

Speakers hail from: BBC Radio 1, Music Manager’s Forum, Spring King, PRS Foundation, The Leaf Label, Deluxxe Management, The Independent, Kaiser Chiefs, Brudenell Social Club, Music Support, Big Life Management, Hookworms, Leeds City Council, Brighter Sound, Come Play With Me, Hannah Peel, BBC Introducing, Girl Gang, HA! Music, Studio 12, MAP Charity, Paramount Music, Chapel FM, Marsicans, and Equaliser.

The Unconference takes place across Leeds College of Music and The Wardrobe in the city centre, is supported by Leeds Beckett University, Music:Leeds and PRS For Music Foundation and is free to attend by registering here.
