Coachella teams up with Festicket to target international fans

UK: Festicket is teaming up with Coachella as the Californian festival’s exclusive UK & European ticket partner. Alongside promoting a wide range of ticket options, Festicket will provide extra local booking services and support across eight languages and a multitude of currencies.

Coachella tickets went on advance sale on June 14, with Festicket packages already sold to fans in 49 different countries worldwide. The company is working closely with Coachella to continue to offer accommodation for ticketholders.

Zack Sabban, CEO & co-founder at Festicket, originally founded the company back in 2012 when he wanted to organise a trip to Coachella with a group of friends in Europe.

He commented: “Coachella has built itself an unparalleled reputation worldwide as the ultimate festival experience. We’ve noted a massive increase interest in the festival from fans outside the US over the past few years. Iconic performances over the years – like Beyoncé’s Homecoming in 2018, Tupac joining by hologram in 2012, and Daft Punk’s seminal light show in 2007 – have contributed to the image of Coachella as a bucket list-type festival, but I also think it has a lot to do with people wanting to travel somewhere beautiful and experience something unforgettable.”
