    Boarmasters Announce Two Headliners and First Wave of Acts

    Boardmasters, Cornwall’s own surf and music festival, boasting one of the UK’s most picture-perfect locations, is back next year from 9-13 August 2023 and reveals the first wave of artists for 2023, including two big headliners. Liam Gallagher and Florence + The Machine head up the bill for next summer, and are joined by over 30 more incredible artists announced today. Boardmasters 2022 saw a monumental sell-out, and now, demand is at an all-time high with a record tens of thousands of fans signing up for the festival’s pre-sale. The biggest names in music, the most exciting surf talent in two, spectacular festival settings of Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach.

    Liam Gallagher is heading to CPic: James North/Boardmastersornwall next summer as Saturday’s 2023 headliner and a UK festival exclusive. Sunday will see Florence + The Machine draw a close to Boardmasters 2023 off the back of the release of brand new album ‘Dance Fever’.

    Also announced today, over 30 more world-class artists including this year’s Mercury Prize winner Little Simz as well as renowned electronic DJ Four Tet and acclaimed, chart-topping, floor-filling Example. Dylan one of the UK’s hottest pop talents right now will be at Boardmasters 2023, plus massive punk-grime duo Bob Vylan, punk powerhouse who burst onto TikTok – Cassyette, rising punk-rock band Kid Kapichi and shapeshifting electro-pop duo Jockstrap.

    The DJ and electro line-up for Boardmasters is already heating up with the first drop of names revealed today including legendary tech DJ Ben Nicky, and electronic music’s finest Dimension. DJ collective Kings Of The Rollers joins the line-up, along with London D&B DJ Kanine, plus two of the biggest DJs collide as Paul Woolford goes b2b with Danny Howard. We’re not done yet – Make Me Feel Good hitmakers Belters Only will also be heading to Boardmasters, as well as Charlie Tee, Goddard, Jaguar, and Balling hitmaker, Vibe Chemistry.

    Beyond the music, festival goers can also sign up for Surf and Adventure packages to make the most of their time soaking up the best of what Cornwall has to offer. Surf packages cater for all abilities, with lessons available from Thursday – Sunday. Boardmasters works with established local surf schools and expert instructors including Fistral Beach Surf School, Escape Surf School, Westcountry Surf School, Blue Surf School & Newquay Activity Centre to provide these lessons and get attendees in the water.
