An event specifically for events professionals in the South Coast is being held in Bournemouth’s Mercure Queen’s Hotel on Wednesday 19th April from 1pm – 7pm.

Hosted by The South Coast Events Forum, SCEF LIVE!, is its first live and in-person conference designed to share great ideas, develop best practice and build even stronger relationships amongst the South Coast’s event professionals with the aim to develop and attract better and safer events to the South Coast.

The event will start with a keynote speech from leadership guru and TEDx speaker, Paul Kinkaid, former head of the British Army’s Training Development Capability. A Forensic Leadership expert, Paul will be sharing his wealth of experience and practical tips for leading a high performing team.

Craig Mathie, Chair of The South Coast Events Forum, says: “This is a day specifically for events professionals, everything we’ve organised, all the guest speakers and our panellists are there to share their expertise with the events community. We all know it’s been a very challenging few years, and we hope that SCEF LIVE! will unite and reinvigorate the industry that’s one of the most important in terms of revenue and employment along the whole of the south coast.”

The day’s agenda includes a series of interactive discussions, panel sessions and round table seminars hosted by events experts from the around the UK, with sessions discussing the skills gap, building communities to sell your event and event safety.

SCEF LIVE! Is being organised by the voluntary steering group behind the South Coast Events Forum with all proceeds reinvested in the community interest company. Tickets are priced at £20pp and include a drink on arrival and afternoon tea and refreshments.
