Margate Summer Series Increases to 20+ Shows for 2023

Margate Summer Series today reveals its full line-up for a sizzling summer of world-class outdoor shows, taking place from June – September 2023. Undoubtedly its biggest edition to date, the series will take over Dreamland, Margate for 20+ dates, delivering a line-up featuring artists including Tom Jones, Queens of the Stone Age, The Streets, Morcheeba, McFly, Kool and the Gang and more, for an unmissable summer by the sea.

A true celebration of all things funk and soul, the Funk & Soul Weekender will serve up sounds from a whole host of unmissable talent both emerging and nothing short of legendary, as well as theme park rides, roller disco, disco yoga, dance classes & more. Kool & the Gang, Hot 8 Brass, Craig Charles, David Rodigan, Nubiyan, Norman Jay and more are billed for the huge event. Check out the full line-up here, for the biggest weekend of funk, soul and disco.

Placebo, Rag’n’Bone Man , Bastille, McFly, Primal Scream,Happy Mondays, Dizzee Rascal are amongst artist already announced, with addistions on sale soon.

Two Door Cinema Club  will be making waves on Margate shores, as part of this year’s summer series, headlining a very special open air show against the backdrop of Dreamland Margate.

Founding member of Wu Tang Clan, GZA has today been unveiled for Margate Summer Series. They’re widely considered as one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time and this year celebrate the 30th anniversary of seminal 1993 album ‘Enter The Wu (36 Chambers)’ .

SANDS, brought to you by Soundcrash and Eat Your Own Ears, makes a welcome return to Dreamland, presenting headliner Bicep with a DJ set as well as sets from the most hyped artists in dance, electro, techno and house.

Fun for the entire family,  Raver Tots makes its Margate Summer Series debut. It’s claimed to be the UK’s biggest family-friendly rave, where kids and grown ups can hit the dance floor and rave the day away together. Expect huge dance spaces, huge production and the best in house, garage and drum’n’bass brought to you by the nation’s biggest DJs.
