    Sziget Adds Headliners in Second Wave

    Hailed as one of Europe’s biggest and most diverse music festivals, Sziget has announced over 40 new acts including Liam Gallagher and Halsey as the new headliner plus RAYE, Tom Odell, Modeselektor, Neil Frances, Skrillex, Sven Väth, Teezo Touchdown and Tkay Maidza. Other exciting new additions to the bill include Ari Abdul, Anfisa Letyago, Archie Hamilton, Colyn, Editors, Enrico Sangiuliano, Franc Moody, Janelle Monáe, Job Jobse, Kevin De Vries, Kiasmos Live, KI/KI, LANY, Len Faki, Lp Giobbi, Mannequin Pussy, Marc Rebillet, Mø, Nico Moreno, NTO Live, Rebūke, Sam Paganini, Sarah StoryWhipped Cream.

    With more talent to be announced soon, day tickets, 3-day tickets, full festival passes, and accommodation options for Sziget 2024 are now on sale and are expected to increase in price in the coming weeks. More information in szigetfestival.com.

    A major highlight of this announcement is the confirmation of Halsey, known for her fierce and magnetic stage presence, Halsey has been teasing fans with the release of an exciting new album this year that she will perform at the Sziget main stage. Adding to this, Oasis’ former frontman, Liam Gallagher will visit Sziget as part of the 30th anniversary tour of Oasis’ debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’. As a solo artist, Gallagher continues to captivate audiences and promises to deliver a show for the Sziget books. The festival has confirmed that the main stage will be taken over by the Brits on Friday 9th August, featuring performances by Stormzy and Liam Gallagher. Other previously released headliners include Fred Again.., Sam Smith, Martin Garrix and more to come.

    Record-breaking Brit award winner, RAYE will grace the main stage after recently making history at the Brits taking 6 awards home including ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Best New Artist’. Known for her infectious pop tunes, the British singer-songwriter has quickly become one of the most exciting acts of this year.  Another Brit award winner, the renowned British musician Tom Odell who recently dropped his captivating album ‘Black Friday’ will bring his heartfelt and passionate performances to Sziget. The formed by accident duo, Neil Frances released their second album last year, titled “It’s All a Bit Fuzzy,” which marked their most successful release yet, and will be gracing festival goers with their dreamy synth-pop sound and catchy melodies.

    The Berlin electronic music duo Modeselektor renowned for their innovative sound blending elements of techno, hip-hop, and experimental electronica will be serving the Sziget crowds with their electrifying performances and immersive visuals. Elsewhere, the Philadelphia band Mannequin Pussy, who recently dropped their ‘I Got Heaven’ album will be pumping the crowds’ energy with their magnetic rock performance. The ever-creative contemporary star, Yves Tumor released their fourth studio album ‘Heaven to a Tortured Mind’ in 2023 and will be bringing their glorious glam-rock thrilling presence to the crowds at Sziget.

    One of the hottest acts of the moment and an electronic music pioneer, Skrillex will be bringing his high-energy tunes and genre-defying productions to Sziget. Another awaited electronic act joining the bill is the Icelandic duo Kiasmos, who after a 5-year break from the stages announced their awaited return.

    Danish pop icon MØ, one of the most streamed artists on Spotify will be bringing her infectious energy, dynamic vocals, and captivating stage presence. Teezo Touchdown is an artist known for his genre-exploding vocals inherent individuality and fearless performances. Tkay Maidza is an Australian rapper and singer known for her dynamic flow and infectious beats. As part of her first DJ tour, VICTORIA, also known as Vic de Angelis and bass player from Maneskin, will bring her pumped-up energy and beats to the masses of the Colosseum stage.

    With something for everyone, Sziget is well known for throwing some of the best parties on the continent at the Bolt Party Arena. In 2024, the festival will welcome the who’s who of the dance industry hosted by some of the best dance promoters in Europe. These include elrow, Awakenings, Q-dance, STMPD, Next Level & Rampage and  Be Massive.

    Talking about the announcement, CEO of Sziget Festival, Tamás Kádár shares “We are very excited to have Liam Gallagher and Halsey as our new headliners. Liam Gallagher will perform on the same day as Stormzy. A sharp eye might notice there will be more acts added later. Also coming is Janelle Monáe, one of the most prominent pop’n’soul singers of the 21st century, also a best-selling author, fashion icon and actress, whose latest album was released last year. We are also expecting the multi-Grammy-winner, arena and festival headliner, Skrillex to be on the Main Stage this year after a hectic couple of years with stellar collaborations with Fred Again.. and Four Tet. What a lucky coincidence that after Skrillex, Fred again.. will perform on the closing day of the Main Stage and on the same day Four Tet will be also the guest of Sziget on the Revolut Stage.”

    Full Festival passes, 3-day passes day tickets start at €199, alongside special U21 ticket prices.
