Italy’s Kappa Futurfestival Announce 2024 ‘Art & Techno’ Program

“As a pairing art and techno have form” said Mixmag on experiencing Art & Techno’s offering. The moment you start to delve into Torino’s art history, its connection with techno music soon becomes apparent. The ‘Futur’ in the festival’s name is after all a nod to Futurism, the early 20th century art movement that started in nearby Milan. The festival is very proud of Torino’s cultural heritage, and are keen for their community to embrace all the art and culture the city has to offer.

Back for the fourth time, the ‘Art & Techno’ package for 2024 will include exclusive visits to private collections, artists’ studios plus an array of museums and galleries for an intimate, one-of-a-kind experience.

This year’s itinerary includes visits to Galleria Mazzoleni, Museo Schneiberg and the breathtaking Pinacoteca Agnelli & La Pista 500, a former FIAT factory-turned-gallery now housing the collection of Fiat founder Giovanni Agnelli (featuring works by Renoir, Manet and Matisse rarely seen by the public). This visit includes a guided rooftop walkaround with landscape architect Cristiana Ruspa who was responsible for the roof’s former racetrack’s stunning transformation.

Guests will also be taken to view some of Turin’s most impressive private art collections and get exclusive access to tour of Italian artist Fabio Viale’s private workshop, where he creates all his sculptures – a very special part of the weekend and access to a space which is never open to the general public.

Included in the Art & Techno Experience is a Torino Museum pass which gives access to all of the city’s best museums, including the Automobile, Egyptian, Royal, and Cinema. For the full list see here.

Furthermore, guests will indulge in traditional Piedmontese lunches at some of the city’s most historic and prestigious venues, such as Caffè San Carlo and Maggiora, while also enjoying an immersive coffee experience at Caffè Vergnano’s Headquarters.

In addition to a 3-day festival ticket, accommodation comes included with a 4-night stay in a 5* hotel, transportation to/from the festival, an exclusive entrance, access to all VIP areas and Main stage, premium food in the VIP Lounge, an invitation to  the Welcome Cocktail on Thursday 4th July and complimentary access to the official after parties  throughout the weekend.

Of course, there’s the music itself, brought to you by the powerhouses of house and techno including: Carl Cox, Skrillex, Jeff Mills, Bonobo, The Blessed Madonna, Nina Kraviz, Honey Dijon, Four Tet, Tiësto, Black Coffee, Floating Points, Seth Troxler and many more.  See the full line up here.
