First Light, Lowestoft’s free festival that takes place next weekend will feature in its ‘Planet Positive’ zone for the first time ever this year, leading sustainable charity multi-retailer, Charity Super.MKT.

The innovative concept that has so far raised over £2million since its inception in 2023, will bring together a curated collection of fashion & accessories from the UK’s best charity retailers is the brainchild of First Light’s Co-Founder, Wayne Hemingway MBE & leading charity retailer Traid’s, Chief Executive, Maria Chenoweth.

Attendees will be able to shop from a curated collection of quality, second-hand fashion, and accessories, brought to you by the nation’s best charity retailers including Emmaus Suffolk, Families Together Suffolk, Haven Hospices & St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice. Also, on-hand will be fabulous fashion advisers and up-cyclers to take garms to the next level, with a  ‘Community Catwalk’ at the end of each day to feature outfits acquired.

Wayne Hemingway MBE, Co-Founder, First Light Festival & Charity SuperMkt commented: “We’re thrilled for Charity SuperMkt to be part of First Light this year – it’s the perfect partnership to bring the concept to Lowestoft – what’s better than shopping from a brilliant edit of brands and charities, whilst listening to live music and doing your bit for the environment all in one hit? It’s a no brainer – come along and see for yourself and be part of our Community Catwalk!”
