Togather, the UK’s largest events booking platform, has surpassed the milestone of 500,000 events on its platform just six years after its 2018 launch.
Launched in 2018 and referred to as ‘the Airbnb of events’ by the FT, Togather has become the go-to location for event planners to book suppliers for corporate events, weddings and much more, with over 30 million having attended Togather events.
The platform, which connects customers with over 3,000 of the UK’s best event suppliers, makes it effortless to book everything from caterers like Marco Pierre White, Ottolenghi, and Nobu, to iconic venues such as Alexandra Palace, Fabric, and The Brewery, alongside photographers, marquee suppliers, event staff, and more.
Over the past six years, Togather has been used by the likes of Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise and Anne Hathaway, and is regularly used by companies such as Apple, Amazon and Meta for their internal events. They have further worked on live events including Pride in London, GALA Festival, The Royal International Air Tattoo and IMG’s Windsor Great Park Illuminated.
Reflecting on this milestone, Togather CEO Digby Vollrath said: ‘Reaching half a million events through the platform is obviously a crazy figure for us, and it’s a figure that reflects a very significant percentage of all events that have taken place in the UK since our 2018 launch. We’ve seen Togather transform how people bring their event visions to life, and this achievement reflects the quality of the incredible suppliers we work with and the hard work of our team.’
Togather’s impressive growth has been fuelled by the backing of some well known investors, including Sam Thompson, Coldplay, and Sarah Willingham, as well as several venture capitalist companies including untitled ventures, Fuel Ventures and Best Nights VC, Jagermeister’s venture arm.
Togather investor Magnus Rausing, who leads the VC firm untitled said ‘The 500,000th event request is a symbol of Togather’s unmatched appeal to both private and corporate event planners. With the UK’s appetite for events continuing to grow rapidly, I fully expect to see Togather’s growth accelerate even more rapidly over the coming years.’
