Immersive arts and music promoter From The Fields is thrilled to announce the sale of their one millionth ticket, a landmark moment for the Cumbria and Manchester-based company founded by Andy Smith and Ben Robinson. This milestone coincides with another tremendous achievement: winning the Access All Areas Promoter of the Year Award, a testament to the team’s exceptional work in curating unforgettable live experiences.

Since 2006, From The Fields has delighted audiences with stunningly curated arts and culture events including the award-winning Kendal Calling, Bournemouth Arts by the Sea, and their enchanting light trails Christmas at Bute Park in Cardiff, Northern Lights Newcastle, and Northern Lights Leeds. This one-million-ticket milestone reflects almost 20 years of unforgettable live experiences, from the humble beginnings of the first 900-capacity Kendal Calling to national acclaim today.

The company, now with 13 full-time staff, currently runs five large-scale events annually. Notably, the 40,000 capacity Kendal Calling, which takes place in the Lake District, has just sold out for an astonishing 20th consecutive year, achieving this year’s sell-out in record time, three weeks after the line-up was announced.

From The Fields Co-founder Andy Smith said, “A million tickets sold! From Kendal Calling’s humble beginnings in a small field in 2006 to our dazzling Christmas trails lighting up Leeds, Cardiff, and Newcastle tonight, it’s all thanks to our incredible team and wonderful audience. Your passion and support inspire everything we do. Winning the Access All Areas Promoter of the Year Award is the icing on the cake. Here’s to more sold-out fields, sparkling lights, and probably a fair bit more mud along the way. Onwards!”
