Nick Morgan, CEO of We Group, has joined the board of the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), a leading organisation representing and advocating for the entertainment, nightlife and hospitality sectors in the UK.

The CEO, who is also Vice Chair of the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), has been a driving force in campaigning for support across the independent sector, with a particular focus on festivals and events.

A vast amount of this campaigning has been driven through independent festival production company The Fair, one of three divisions that sit under the We Group umbrella, alongside creative production agency, We Are Placemaking, and event operations and safety agency, We Are OPS. In the last two years, The Fair has released a behind-the-scenes festival documentary, ‘It Takes A Village’, highlighting just how much hard work goes into producing events, hosted The Advice Line, offering chats with those looking to fuel their career in the events industry, and created the ‘Your Festival Needs You’ campaign – celebrating festivals in a bid to gather vital support for independent events.

The Fair is also one of six brands hosting a stage at NTIA’s Night Time Economy Summit in February, curating a programme of panels that will explore some of the most important topics across the music, festival and events in the industry right now.

As a Non-Executive Advisory Board Member, Morgan will collaborate with NTIA CEO Michael Kill and the team, campaigning for greater support across the wider culture sector.

Nick Morgan, CEO of We Group, said: “Whether it be independent festivals, nightclubs, grassroots venues or bars, we’re essentially all fighting for the same cause – a safe, successful and vibrant independent scene in the UK. The only way our concerns will be heard, and solutions will be found, is if we share insights and work collaboratively to gather support for a thriving industry.

“That’s why I am delighted to join the NTIA board and work alongside such a dedicated team of people, who truly share the same passion for culture as I do.
“The night-time economy is another vital element of our cultural and economic fabric, and I look forward to contributing to its evolution and success.”

Michael Kill, CEO of Night Time Industries Association, said: “Nick’s unparalleled experience in festivals and large-scale event production, combined with his deep understanding of how vibrant cultural events interlink with city life, makes him an invaluable addition. His passion and commitment to the sector speak for themselves, and his appointment strengthens our mission to champion the night-time economy as a vital part of our cultural and economic fabric.

“I’m delighted to welcome Nick Morgan to the Board of the Night Time Industries Association as a Non-Executive Board Advisor.”

Sacha Lord, Chair of NTIA, said: “2025 will be another pivotal year for nightlife and culture in the UK, as we continue to lobby for support. Collaboration has therefore never been more important.

“Nick’s expertise paired with his unwavering passion for the independent scene will strengthen our mission to protect and grow the sector, and I’m therefore delighted to welcome him to the NTIA board. Together, we will continue to fight for a thriving industry, which is vital to the cultural and economic heartbeat of this country.”
