The debut Medaina Festival takes place at Jordan’s majestic Petra and Wadi Rum sites with Ame, Aline Umber, Bedouin, Ben Sterling, HVOB, Jimi Jules, Mind Against, Patrice Bäumel, Rolbac, Sonja Moonear and more lining up.

Stunning cultural escape Medaina Festival arrives at Jordan’s ancient Petra and the nearby Wadi Rum valley from 21–26 May 2025. This multi-day event is a unique mix of music, art, gastronomy, culture and sustainability in one of the most beautiful and ancient places in the world.

Modern wanderers seek more than just destinations, they crave immersive, multidimensional experiences that go beyond the ordinary. And that’s exactly what Medaina Festival, curated by Tithorea, offers: an intricate tapestry blending music, culinary exploration, well-being and cultural discovery into one unforgettable journey.

And for the adventurous traveler, Jordan is the ultimate destination. Situated at the crossroads of history and modernity, the Kingdom of Jordan offers a mesmerising fusion of ancient heritage and vibrant contemporary life. From the awe-inspiring, rose-red cliffs of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the vast, golden dunes of Wadi Rum, Jordan’s landscapes offer a timeless beauty that beckons explorers.

“After four years of deep dreaming and careful planning, we are finally here. The time has come for us to launch Mediana at the absolutely magical sites of Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan while being completely considerate of our local community. We are proud that this inaugural event showcases the very best Jordanian cultural and artistic offerings while also being utterly respectful of the important guidelines around their famous sacred and historical sites. We’ll offer our fantastically state-of-the-art creative direction to make this an immersive experience of a lifetime.” Co-Founder Shahin Mani

Medaina Festival promises to redefine the idea of cultural celebration this year with a groundbreaking sensory feast that merges sights, sounds and sensations. More than just a music festival, Medaina is a movement—an exploration that will awaken your wanderlust in profound new ways.

Set against the majestic backdrop of Petra and Wadi Rum, Medaina will seamlessly blend the age-old grandeur of Jordan’s landscapes with the dynamic pulse of contemporary art, music, and culture. To ensure the festival follows all of its guidelines and is mindful of this historic site, organisers are collaborating closely with the Tourism Board and cultural authorities.

Medaina is a celebration of both the legacy of the past and the boundless potential of the present, offering an unparalleled opportunity to experience Jordan like never before.

As the countdown to Medaina begins, travellers are invited to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey that will leave them with memories to treasure long after the event has ended.
