South Facing Festival welcomes the legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC to headline Love Motion,  the disco, soul and electronic all-day event on Sunday 24 August. The iconic group will take to the Crystal Palace park stage alongside a supportive line-up of incredible talent.

Also joining the line up for this bank holiday extravaganza, is leader of global dance music, Louie Vega, French music producer and DJ Dimitri from Paris, French disco drummer and producer Cerrone, the magnetic Brighton-based DJ Kirollus, the joyfully uplifting vocal group House Gospel Choir, and London-based house-disco party Don’t F**k with Disco.

Nile Rodgers said: “We are so excited to be bringing you all of the hits in an ‘all killer no filler’ dance party set at the Crystal Palace Park as part of the South Facing Festival!”

Rob Waller, MD of Soundcrash, said: “We are beyond thrilled to welcome the legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC to South Facing Festival for Love Motion. Nile’s influence on music is unparalleled, his timeless hits and groundbreaking collaborations have shaped generations. This all-day celebration of disco, soul, and electronic music will be truly special, and we can’t wait to see Crystal Palace Park come alive with the energy and joy his music brings.”

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and multiple Grammy award winning Nile Rodgers is the co-founder of CHIC. With CHIC, Nile pioneered a musical language with hits like —Le Freak (Atlantic’s best-selling single) and sparked hip-hop with Good Times and Rapper’s Delight. His work in the CHIC Organization, including We Are Family (Sister Sledge), I’m Coming Out (Diana Ross) and on his own Let’s Dance (David Bowie and Like a Virgin (Madonna), has sold over 500+ million albums , while his Grammy Award- winning collaborations with Daft Punk (Random Access Memories) and Beyonce (Renaissance) reflect the vanguard of contemporary hits.
