    Margate Summer Series 2025 reveals biggest line-up to date

    The Margate Summer Series reveals its full line-up for 2025, bringing an unforgettable summer of world-class music to Dreamland. With a host of huge names spanning rock, reggae, electronic, and pop, this year’s edition promises to be the biggest yet.

    Hometown heroes The Libertines will headline a much-anticipated show at Dreamland on 5 July, marking their first-ever performance at the iconic venue. Joining them on this landmark occasion are indie powerhouses Soft Play and Sports Team, ensuring an unmissable night of British rock anthems. A historic punk rock event takes place on 23 August as Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, alongside The Stranglers and The Buzzcocks, promise an explosive evening filled with raw energy and legendary anthems.

    Britpop legends Supergrass take the stage on 20 June, bringing their energetic sound to Margate. They will be joined by Jake Bugg and The Coral, making this a must-attend event for fans of the genre. Indie rock pioneers The Wombats and Razorlight will join forces for a special co-headline show on 22 August, supported by rising indie trio Sunday (1994) and breakthrough alt-rock band Talk Show. Fans can expect a night filled with indie anthems and high-energy performances.

    On 8 August, rock royalty Roger Daltrey will headline with a setlist that revisits classics from The Who alongside his solo hits. The evening also features Britpop icons Ocean Colour Scene, a Mod-themed celebration with Bruce and Russ from The Jam, and a DJ set from Eddie Piller of The Modcast. The incomparable Billy Ocean will grace Dreamland on Friday, 11th July, alongside disco icons Sister Sledge, ‘70s soul legends Shalamar, and special guest DJs, delivering an evening of timeless classics and dancefloor favourites. Legendary Welsh singer Tom Jones will take the Dreamland stage on 6  July, following his two sold-out shows in 2023, marking his much-anticipated return to Margate.

    Reggae lovers are in for a treat on 12 July, as the Margate Reggae Festival takes over Dreamland. Headlined by the legendary UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, the festival also features stellar acts such as Maxi Priest, The Selecter, and Mad Professor, promising a full day of reggae, dub, and dancehall vibes. Meanwhile, ska legends Madness return for another unforgettable performance on 2 August, bringing hits like Our House and It Must Be Love.

    Dance music titans Basement Jaxx will transform Dreamland into an electrifying dance party on 26 July. Known for their pulsating beats and carnival-like performances, they are set to deliver a high-energy spectacle. Electronic duo Maribou State will headline on 24 August, with their first full live show in Kent. They will be joined by Mount Kimbie, George Fitzgerald, and more special guests to be announced. Party-starting legends Scooter bring their ultimate rave experience to Margate on 13 June.

    British girl group Sugababes will take to the Dreamland stage on 12 September, with special guests Melanie C and Jaguar, ensuring a night of iconic pop hits. McFly will perform on 1 August, bringing their pop-rock anthems to Margate with support from Sam Ryder and rising local star Olivia Rogers. Pop rock icons Texas will light up Dreamland on 18 July, with special guest KT Tunstall. Olly Murs will celebrate 15 years in music with a high-energy show on 15 August, featuring special guest Lemar. Legendary UK rapper Dizzee Rascal will headline on 29 August, alongside special guest DJ sets from Mike Skinner of The Streets and multi-instrumentalist Badger.

    With an unparalleled line-up of music legends, emerging stars, and electrifying performances, the Margate Summer Series 2025 promises to be the ultimate summer soundtrack by the sea.
