Shambala Festival, which takes place at Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens in Northamptonshire from 27-30 August 2026 has announced Bob Vyland as one of the first artists for its 2026 line-up.
Joining the punk-grime band are a mix of artists, including Mercury Prize nominee Emma-Jean Thackray, psych rock collective Goat, poet-performer Joshua Idehen, Penguin Cafe, Night Tapes, BCUC, Hollie Cook, and 2 Tone trailblazers The Selecter.
As well as musical offerings Shambala has also announced the first names for its non-music programme, including MP Zara Sultana, Performer and activist Kate Ireland, Poet Georgie Jones and the minds behind BBC Child.
Sidarth Sharma, Creative Director of Shambala, said: “At Shambala, our creative vision has always been about more than simply curating a soundtrack for the festival. It’s about opening a doorway to extraordinary artists and musicians who are tirelessly honing their craft. In a world overflowing with music – where algorithms can so easily obscure the true gems – our role is to cut through the noise and ensure our audience experiences those rare, beautiful sonic surprises that make Shambala unforgettable.”
Shambala is nominated for five UK Festival Awards – Independent Festival of the Year, Medium Festival of the Year, Sarah Nulty Community Impact Award, Green Award, and Tech Innovation Award.
