    Hay Festival announces line-up for 2026

    Emma Thompson, Malala Yousafzai, Gisèle Pelicot and more are amongst the set to appear at more than 500 events at this year's Hay Festival.

    Emma Thompson, Malala Yousafzai, Gisèle Pelicot and more are amongst the set to appear at more than 500 events at this year’s Hay Festival.

    Taking place on 21-31 May in Hay-on-Wye, Powys, the literary festival will also welcome Ian McEwan, Matt Haig and Cressida Cowell, alongside political figures David Miliband and Nicola Sturgeon and historians Alice Roberts and David Olusoga.

    The ten day event will also feature comedians Dawn French, Michael McIntyre, Sara Pascoe and Greg Davies, alongside a programme that explores themes around politics, film, music and more.


    Tickets are on sale now for Hay festival members, patrons and benefactors. General sale opens on Saturday 14 March.
