Beyond the Music festival and conference has announced its move to MediaCity, Salford from 7-9 October.
The 2026 event will see a daytime programme of keynotes, showcases and what the festival describes as a “a first-of-its-kind global All Content AI Summit, hosted by Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham” focussed on protecting creator rights in an era of rapid technological change.
The nighttime programme will see over 100 emerging artists performing across MediaCity and Salford venues.
A statement from the festival said, “Positioned at the intersection of culture, content and innovation, Beyond The Music continues to expand Greater Manchester’s global influence — bringing Salford’s centenary celebrations together with the region’s thriving creative ecosystem to cement its place at the centre of a global shift in the digital industries.”
