The Great Escape Conference has unveiled the full programme for 2026 for its 20th edition.
In what the Brighton-based festival and conference calls its “most expansive and ambitious schedule to date,” the Canadian experimentalist Peaches will be part of a keynote conversation alongside TRANS VOICES co-founder ILĀ, chaired by The Independent.
Running from 13-15 May, this year’s conference will also welcome keynote speakers such as Melanie C, Minister of State for Creative Industries, Media and Arts Ian Murray, and CD Baby’s Molly Neuman.
The first day of the conference will focus on live music and night-time culture, with sessions welcoming the Music Venues Alliance Brighton and the Night Time Industry Association (NTIA), while Thursday’s is a more artist focused roster featuring panels from TikTok and AIM, alongside the newly announced panel ‘PPL Presents a Panic Shack chat: Girl Band Starter Pack.’
Friday celebrates the ‘Next Gen’ with a discussion on regional music scenes with the Youth Music organisation alongside sessions and panels from BPI, AWAL, AudioActive, BBC Introducing and more.
Tickets and delegate passes for The Great Escape are available now.
