Live Nation has acquired independent UK promoter Louder Entertainment, who oversee a roster of club and live music events across south England, including Brighton’s On The Beach.

Through it’s reporting, Access All Areas (AAA) found that “as of 1 April Live Nation SVP finance UK & Ireland Lynn Lavelle, Live Nation Entertainment international group counsel Selina Emeny and its COO UK & Ireland Stuart Douglas have joined as directors of Louder.”

In its original article, AAA added that Louder directors Christie Liddicott and Daniel Newman will remain at the company, according to Companies House. AAA also found that, although Live Nation’s stake in Louder has not been publicised, the Companies House PSCo2 filing lists it between 50% and 70%.

Live Nation said its move “aims to accelerate the UK promoter’s growth while preserving its distinct identity and expanding its electronic and live music events portfolio.”

In a shared statement, a Live Nation spokesperson said: “Louder has built a strong reputation through a distinctive mix of club culture, contemporary live music and outdoor shows. This investment complements our existing business well, in a space where Louder has real expertise and a clear identity.”

A spokesperson for Louder added: “This investment gives us added support as we move into our next chapter, while staying true to who we are. We’ll continue to operate with the same team and creative identity, with extra backing to help us grow and keep delivering the electronic dance music events we’re known for.”
