The Sustainable Events Summit (SES) returns to the Showman’s Show on Wednesday 21 October 2026 with a programme focussed on sustainability within the live events sector.
Invited attendees will take part in a morning session of roundtables that look at the challenges and successes of the 2026 festival season. The morning session will also focus on the support events need to meet the actions set out in the Climate Transition Plan 2030.
The afternoon programme will feature a keynote from Feimatta Conteh, Senior Manager for Environmental Responsibility at Arts Council England.
The afternoon will also feature talks and panels with a focus on event energy, including sessions on Decarbonising Event Power by 2030, The Best of the Summer Panel and a Quickfire Innovation session hosted by Festival Insights, featuring GeoPura, Power Logistics, 4Wall and Sunbelt Rentals.
