Showman’s Show, a trade show for the outdoor and festival industry, returns to Newbury Showground on 21–22 October for its 42nd edition.
Showman’s Show says that more than 300 exhibitors are expected, with 80 new companies joining the show for the first time.
Exhibitors will include Rentman, which return as sponsors for a second year, Network Stages, Peequal and JCB, alongside companies showcasing ticketing solutions, structures, power provisions, traffic management and more.
Event power provision is expected to have a strong showing, with JCB showcasing its range of power products and hydrogen development, and new exhibitor HIMOINSA bringing its greener, quieter power solutions.
Sustainability will also feature, with the return of the Sustainable Events Summit on 21 October. The summit’s focus is on energy and the sector’s 30 climate actions for 2030.
The industry has faced many challenges in 2026, including rising fuel costs and National Insurance increases. Despite this, the show says it has expanded its exhibition hall and has seen an increase in early bookings. Show director Johnny Lance explains, “the industry appears to be confident, with plenty of new products & services entering the market. We are looking forward to another great show!”
