    Flying Lotus, Death Grips, Nicolas Jaar and more added to insane Field Day line-up

    UK: Field Day has announced an incredible list of names to play East London’s Victoria Park on June 3, including Death Grips, Flying Lotus, Jon Hopkins (DJ), King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Moderat, Mura Masa, Nicolas Jaar, Nina Kraviz, Omar Souleyman, Silver Apples, Whitney and more. This huge wealth of talent will join headliner Aphex Twin, who will close Field Day’s brand new, indoor second main stage arena, entitled ‘The Barn’.

    Also joining Field Day 2017’s esteemed line-up are synth specialists S U R V I V E, catapulting to worldwide fame this year with their critically acclaimed score for Stranger Things. Field Day revellers will also bear witness to world music’s legendary icon King Sunny Ade, whilst Whitney, Methyl Ethel, Kevin Morby, HAELOS, Julia Jacklin, Áine Cahill, Imarhan and Flamingods will further provide a masterclass in diverse, far-ranging sounds.

    Committed to placing boundary pushing music at the forefront, Field Day’s electronic line-up flourishes once more with a list of names that include formidable pioneers Silver Apples, Moodymann, Gaika, Forest Swords, Fatima Yamaha (live), Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Omar Souleyman and more. DJ sets come courtesy of lauded producer Jon Hopkins, whilst other highlights set to take to the decks at this year’s festival include Midland, Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, Lena Willikens, Hunee, Jon Jobse and more.

    Now in it’s 11th year, Field Day has consistently proved itself to be one of the leading festivals the UK has to offer. Exceptional programming over the years have seen the best in upcoming and legendary acts such as PJ Harvey, Caribou, Skepta, Patti Smith and Pixies grace the Victoria Park stages and Field Day 2017 is set to surpass expectations once again, with many more artists to be announced.
