Over 40 acts have been announced for Boomtown 2026, in what the festival says will usher in a new, “radically redesigned” chapter for the Hampshire-based festival.

Belfast rap trio Kneecap join New York glam-pop stars Scissor Sisters as headline acts, alongside ska legends Madness and dubstep innovator Skrillex.

They join the likes of Four Tet, Faithless, Scooter, Shaggy and many more across the festival, which takes place 12-16 August 2026.

Across those five days, festival-goers will also discover DJ and live sets from the likes of DnB duo Camo & Krooked B2B Mefjus, Berlin trance from Marlon Hoffstadt, a UKG and bass set from Kilimanjaro B2B Oppidan, alongside performances from UK dance veterans Groove Armada and expansive electronica from producer Floating Points.

Rap and hip-hop is also represented by Havoc of Mobb Deep, Princess Nokia, Sampa the Great and more.

The line-up marks what the festival calls a “new chapter” in its booking, and is designed to reflect a broader and more diverse range of music tastes.

Boomtown’s 2026 edition will also feature a “new district, major site changes, and an evolved creative direction,” says the festival.

Luke Mitchell, Boomtown’s Co-Founder, said: “Musically – While bass music has dominated in recent years and will always be at our core, we’re making a conscious move to keep Boomtown musically diverse and unpredictable. Expect more live bands and more cross-genre adventures. That’s where Boomtown began, and it’s what keeps us on the truest path forward”

Kneecap added: “If anyone knows of ‘a better way to live’ it’s the sound citizens of Boomtown…This one’s going to be special, see yis all there!”

Boomtown takes place at Matterley Bowl in Hampshire from 12-16 August 2026. Tickets go on sale on 31 October here.
