    The world’s biggest megastars don’t just confine themselves to arenas and VIP green rooms anymore. They’re turning up in our local green fields, and 2026 is set to be a bumper year for pop and hip-hop fans in the UK.

    From throwback bangers and funk to Grammy-winning rappers, here are some of the best pop and hip-hop festivals happening this year.


    Mighty Hoopla

    Festival: Mighty Hoopla

    Location: Brockwell Park, London

    Dates: 30-31 May 2026

    Acts: Lily Allen, Scissor Sisters, Five, Jodie Harsh, Horse Meat Disco and more.

    Featuring more pink than a Barbie house party, Mighty Hoopla is a celebration of all things pop. From 90s and 00s icons such as Five, Estelle, Louise and the fabulous Jane McDonald to a dedicated ‘Gay Icon Stage’, Mighty Hoopla is simply one of the best parties out there for all pop enthusiasts.

    Location: Apps Court, Surrey UK

    Dates: 11 July 2026

    Acts: Gloria Gaynor, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Soul II Soul, Shalamar and more.

    For lovers of all things disco, funk and soul then Boogietown is for you. Bringing the likes of Gloria Gaynor, Gabrielle, Maxi Priest, Heather Small, Boney M and more to its Suffolk home, expect a day of funky bass, Motown hits and solid vibes.

    Location: Finsbury Park, London

    Dates: 11-13 July 2026

    Acts: Ye

    Reliably one of the UK’s best festivals for US and UK rap, hip-hop and grime, Wireless Festival regularly brings some of the biggest artists on the planet to East London. Last year’s weekender saw a three-day residency from Drake, while everyone from Cardi B to Daft Punk have all performed at the festival. For 2026, Ye will perform over its three-day weekend. Let the controversy begin.

    Acts: Lewis Capaldi, Pitbull, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons and more.

    Pitbull-mania is alive and well at BST Hyde Park this summer, but the beautifully bald Mr. Worldwide isn’t alone. Set to feature across BST’s London residency includes Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capadi, Maroon 5 and many more to be announced shortly.

    Bringing together some of the biggest pop acts alongside icons such as Kasabian and Richard Ashcroft, Victorious Festival is a yearly seafront celebration of pop and rock. While indie fans are more than catered for, grime is represented with a special set from Dizzee Rascal while the likes of Kelis, The Streets, Vengaboys and more help make up one of 2026’s most uniquely eclectic line-ups.

    Acts: The Cure, Wet Leg, Tom Grennan, Two Door Cinema Club and more.

    While Isle of Wight could easily rest on its longstanding history of bringing the likes of Bowie and Jimi Hendrix to the small UK isle, the festivals continues to deliver major headline acts off the South English coast. This year, that comes in the form of Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris, The Cure and more.

    One of Scotland’s biggest festivals, TRNSMT doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to its line-up. This year’s edition will see CMAT, Loyle Carner, Amy Macdonald, Lewis Capaldi and more play before the strong Glasgow faithful.

    All Points East

    Festival: All Points East

    Location: Tower Hamlets, East London

    Dates: 22-30 August 2026

    Acts: Tyler, the Creator, Twnety One Pilots, Baby Keem, Zara Larsson and more.

    A festival that specialises in the more alternative, outer edges of pop (think Charli XCX), All Points East delivers a stellar line-up for 2026 that includes New Zealand star Lorde, PinkPantheress, Twenty One Pilots and an exclusive two-day residency from recent Grammy-winner Tyler, the Creator.
