Bristol day festival Simple Things returns for 2026 with music acts Squid, Shabaka, Panda Bear & Sonic Boom and more.

Taking place 7 November for its 12th edition, the festival is guest curated by Squid and Shabaka, who will also perform live, while artist Jeremy Deller has also been invited as a curator. The Turner Prize-winning artist will also showcase ‘Jeremy Deller’s Acid Brass’, a fusion of 90s house classics performed by a brass band.

The celebration of avant-garde and experimental music, arts and culture will also host Gold Panda, Lord Spikeheart, Ms Ray and more over multiple venues across Bristol. In addition, this year’s theme for Simple Things is ‘Future Fossils’, a topic which the festivals says “explores the resilience of independent music spaces.”
