The application process for the UK Festival Awards 2019 has now opened. The Awards will return to the Troxy in London on December 5th for a third consecutive year and promises to end the year with a big celebration. The prestigious annual ceremony boasts 20 award categories that lend kudos to teams and individuals across all areas of this industry for their excellent work throughout 2019.

The Awards will be presented by rapper, comedian and industry resident Doc Brown and will be followed by an in-house afterparty with music from northern DJ duo, Howling Rhythm.

Attended by some of the festival industry’s biggest experts and veterans, this is an unmissable opportunity to celebrate successes, reward your team, and network with 600 of your peers at the biggest and best industry bash of the year.

Among last year’s winners of the prestigious Awards were Latitude Festival, named Best Family Festival after winning Best Major Festival in 2017. 2000trees, 2017’s winner of the Grassroots Festival Award, went home with Best Medium-Sized Festival.

In, 2018, the late Sarah Nulty was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Festivals Award. Launch in part to honour the profound legacy of the Tramlines festival director, the Women in Festivals Award is a new addition for 2019 that will celebrate the accomplishments of women across all facet of the live events industry during the past year.

Applicants can either nominate themselves of a colleague, and the process will be open to those working directly for festivals, suppliers, or any other festival-adjacent organisation, in whatever capacity.
