Arran Rock and Blues Returns for 3rd Year

Lochranza, on Arran, Scotland’s most southerly island is the location for the 2024 Arran Rock and Blues Festival, produced by Arran Events and taking place between May 3rd and 5th.

In a location that boasts world-class wildlife, a medieval castle on the shoreline, an award winning whisky distillery and a stunning mountain backdrop, the festival features a stellar line-up of rock and blues artists playing in a setting that is typically Scottish and unashamedly beautiful.

Compared by John Beattie, the former rugby union international player and Radio Scotland broadcaster, the festival is family friendly and intimate with two stages and an acoustic stage at the Lochranza Country Inn.

Festival neighbours, Arran Distillery, have sponsored the second stage –  The Arran Single Malt stage – which will be located in a marquee on the main site.

With fine Arran scran and drink available on site, this festival feast for the senses will delight Music Lovers, Food Lovers, Whisky lovers, Wildlife lovers and lovers of the Scottish island scenery in all its splendour.

Kicking off on Friday night in the Lochranza Village Hall we can all get into the mood with the John Beattie band and the Sensational Alex Harvey Experience doing a pre-festival gig and setting the pace for the rest of the weekend.

The Saturday and Sunday line-up includes Dr Feelguid, Anchor Lane, Andy Taylor Group, The Sharpeez, Little Miss Debby and Blackleaf 40, with more acoustic performers at the Lochranza Country Inn acoustic stage.
