Glasgow’s celebration of folk and roots music and culture, Celtic Connections, has announced the first acts for its 33rd edition.
Scottish folk-rock icons Skerryvore, singer Rokia Koné, award winner RURA, Cuban jazz band Buena Vista All Stars and many more will appear over from 15 January to 1 February 2026.
Senegalese orchestral act Baobab, Antonio Sanchez, Bela Fleck, Lucinda Williams and more will also appear at the city festival, which takes over venues across the city, including the Barrowland Ballroom, Old Fruitmarket, King Tut’s, and many more.
Donald Shaw, Celtic Connections Creative Producer, said: “At the very heart of our 33rd festival are celebration, collaboration and connection. We are very excited that our 2026 edition will bring together such a wealth of talented musicians from Scotland and all over the world – from award-winning performers to young newcomers. And we can’t wait to welcome so many fantastic artists and acts to Glasgow in the new year to perform for our audiences in every corner of the city.

General tickets go on sale at 10am, Thursday 16 October 2025 through the Celtic Connections website.
