Gothenburg’s Way Out West festival have announced The Cure, Gorillaz, and Ravyn Lenae as its headliners for 2026, with more than 120 acts to be announced over the next few months.

The Swedish festival, which will take place 13–15 August 2026, is set to return for its eighteenth edition after what the festival called “a record-breaking 2025 edition with two of the most attended days in the festival’s history and a fourth consecutive year of audience growth.”

Set in Gothenburg’s Slottsskogen Park, Way Out West has become known as a pacesetter for sustainability in the festival industry, operating initiatives that includes no meat on site, no single-use plastic policy and a carbon accountability model.

For 2025, the festival also introduced a ‘Kidney Pass’ initiative that encouraged festival-goers to apply for a free 3-day pass by signing up to the national organ donor register.

A limited number of Early Bird tickets go on sale Monday, 13 October at 9AM BST and are available here.
